Admissions Policy
All students must begin at the entry-level course and if they wish to continue must take the courses in sequence.
General Entrance Qualifications
The College admits as regular students applicants who:
- are High School graduates or equivalent* or 19 years of age** by the first day of instruction
- prior to acceptance, have completed a personal interview by telephone or in person with the Course Instructor
- have filled out and signed a Student Enrollment Contract
- have presented two pieces of personal identification of which one must be photo ID
- have observable mental stability sufficient to participate in a group setting
- speak, read, write and comprehend English (or French in the French version of the course)
*Those applicants with a strong interest in CBE and relevant life experience but who have less than a Grade 12 education may contact the college for an interview with the Director or Admissions Advisor.
**Applicants under 19 years of age must send a copy of their high school diploma (or equivalent) with their completed application form and fees. Signature of a parent or legal guardian is required on the Student Enrollment Contract.
DOORWAY TO SUCCESS PROGRAM

CERTIFIED PRACTITIONER PROGRAM
Core Belief Engineering Basic Course
See General Entrance Qualifications above.
- have completed an application form and paid a non-refundable program registration fee of $150 Cdn payable to Core Belief Engineering Ltd.
Core Belief Engineering Practitioner Intensive Course
The College admits as regular students applicants who:
- have met the General Entrance Qualifications
- have successfully completed the Basic Course within the last two years
- prior to acceptance, have completed a written application, paid a non-refundable $150 Cdn. deposit (this deposit will be applied toward course tuition when the balance of the fees are paid), had a personal interview by telephone or in person with the Course Instructor and provided any necessary updates to the Student Enrollment Contract
Core Belief Engineering Intern Practitioner Distance Practicum
Students are accepted into this three-year, self-paced Intern stage of the program who:
- have completed the Practitioner Intensive Course satisfactorily
- have submitted their Intern Practitioner Application within one year of the date on their Certificate of Completion of the Practitioner Intensive Course
- have read, signed and returned the Contract and Release for Practitioners, Evaluators and Instructors
- have submitted a letter stating their intentions, reasons for wishing to start their practicum and a description of their venue for working with clients
Core Belief Engineering Advanced Level 1 Course
Students are accepted into this course who:
- are Certified Practitioners, Associate Practitioners or Intern Practitioners actively involved in their Practicum
- have submitted $150 Cdn. non-refundable deposit (this deposit will be applied toward course tuition when the balance of the fees are paid)
Core Belief Engineering Intern Practitioner Tutorial/Evaluation
Students who qualify for this private, one-on-one course must:
- have completed and submitted summaries and feedback for a minimum of a 250 hour distance practicum See Program Guide for details
- have submitted a minimum of one video recording of a complete private CBE session with a client to the College of Core Belief Engineering
- have completed The Advanced Level 1 Course
Core Belief Engineering Advanced Level 2 Course
Students are accepted into this course who:
- have submitted $150 Cdn. non-refundable deposit (this deposit will be applied toward course tuition when the balance of the fees are paid)
- have completed the Advanced Level 1 course satisfactorily
- are Certified Practitioners or Associate Practitioners actively involved in private practice
Core Belief Engineering Associate Practitioner Professional/Tutorial Review
- must be an Associate Practitioner in good standing
- must have completed and submitted summaries and feedback for a minimum of 250 hours of private practice See Program Guide for details
- must have submitted a minimum of one video recording of a complete private consultation with a client to the College of Core Belief Engineering
- have completed The Advanced Level 2 Course
MASTER PRACTITIONER PROGRAM
Students qualified to apply for entrance into this program:
- have been a Certified CBE Practitioner in good standing for at least two years;
- have accumulated, summarized and submitted a minimum of 600 hours of CBE private work with clients, and 200 hours of self-work
- have completed the CBE Practitioner Intensive Course a second time (or equivalent - determined on a case by case basis)
- have served as a Resource Person at a minimum of three (3) Basic Courses (after attaining Certified Practitioner status)
- have served as a Resource Person at part or all of a Practitioner Intensive
- have submitted a letter stating intentions and reasons for entering the program and a specific idea as to what area will be researched
- have paid a $150 non-refundable registration fee payable to Core Belief Engineering Ltd. with their application letter
Core Belief Engineering Master Practitioner Research Thesis
Acceptance into this private, self-paced course is dependent upon:
- a satisfactory review of your client hours, self-work summaries and client feedback
- approval of your proposed area of study
- the conclusions formed by a Review Committee, consisting of your previous course Instructors, Evaluators, the Chief Instructor and a written survey of your peers, regarding all of your interactive skills and professional qualifications in Core Belief Engineering to date
- formulation in writing of your proposed plan of research in detail
Master Practitioner Professional/Tutorial Review I
This private course is run concurrently with the research thesis and is a requirement for its completion. Students who are working on their research thesis are required to submit a video recording of the second or third session with your volunteer/research client to the College of Core Belief Engineering within six months of being accepted into the course.
Master Practitioner Professional/Tutorial Review II
This private course is run concurrently with the research thesis and is a requirement for its completion. Students who are working on their research thesis are required to submit a video recording of the final session with a volunteer/research client participating in your research to the College of Core Belief Engineering.
CORE BELIEF ENGINEERING CERTIFIED EVALUATOR PROGRAM
Core Belief Engineering Certified Evaluator Training I – Intern Level
Those who are interested in becoming a Certified Evaluator must be a Master Practitioner in good standing. The training is conducted one-on-one with the Chief Instructor. The Evaluator candidate and the C.I. work jointly to conduct a Tutorial/Evaluation with an Intern Practitioner for the purpose of assessing competence and qualification to attain Associate Practitioner standing. The Evaluator candidate will be required to participate in two joint Tutorial/Evaluations to assure the prospective Evaluator’s abilities are sufficient.
Core Belief Engineering Certified Evaluator Training II – Associate Level
Certified Evaluators may choose to advance their skills in the science and art of detailed student evaluations and one-on-one tutoring with students who are Associate Practitioners aspiring towards Certified Practitioner standing. This training is conducted one-on-one with the Chief Instructor in a joint session with an Associate Practitioner. The Evaluator candidate will be required to participate in two joint Professional Tutorial/Reviews to assure the Evaluator’s abilities are sufficient.
Core Belief Engineering Certified Senior Evaluator Training (still under development)
Those who are interested in becoming a Certified Senior Evaluator must be a Senior Instructor in good standing and a Certified Evaluator willing to be trained as a Certified Senior Evaluator by the Chief Instructor.
CORE BELIEF ENGINEERING INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM
Basic Instructor
- must be a Master Practitioner in good standing
Exception: Because the Instructor training is taught only every few years, a Certified Practitioner who is working towards Master Practitioner Status and who desires to be an Instructor may be admitted. He or she will be awarded Associate Instructor status until completion of the Master Practitioner requirements, which must be completed within four years from the date of Associate Instructor Certification.
Intensive Instructor (under development)
- must be a Basic Instructor in good standing
- must be a Certified Evaluator
Senior Instructor (under development)
- must be a Intensive Instructor in good standing
