Graduation Policy
Graduation in each of the courses in the Certified Practitioner Program is dependent on comprehensive verbal and written evaluations of achievement of the learning outcomes.
In the Basic Course a Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory grade is given. This is determined by the achievement of the learning outcomes, recorded on the feedback forms and the Instructors assessment of the student’s participation in the class. A Satisfactory grade grants eligibility to continue in the Program. Students receive a Letter of Completion.
In the Practitioner Intensive Course the students’ grasp of theory is graded on a written final exam at the end of the course. The final exam comprises 30% of the total criteria for a Satisfactory grade. Students’ technical proficiency level is assessed through a consensus reached by the Instructor and Resource People regarding baseline skills, abilities and level of improvement, using a written and oral feedback protocol. This assessment comprises 70% of the total criteria for a Satisfactory grade. All students receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the course yet only those who have achieved a Satisfactory grade are eligible to continue in the Program.
In the Intern Practitioner and Associate Practitioner Distance Practicum Courses, students’ eligibility to request a Tutorial is based on the Instructor’s (or designated supervisor’s) assessment of the student’s achievement of the learning outcomes. Students who achieve a Satisfactory grade receive a letter to verify eligibility to do the Intern Practitioner Tutorial/Evaluation or Associate Practitioner Professional Tutorial/Review.
In the Advanced Level One & Two Courses, the Instructors assessment of students’ participation in the class and the development of communication and processing skills during the peer exchanges form the basis for a Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory grade. Students receive a Letter of Completion at the end of each course.
In the Intern Practitioner Tutorial/Evaluation and the Associate Practitioner Professional Tutorial/Review courses the student is evaluated on the learning outcomes from all previously completed courses and the caliber of the demonstrated work is measured against the standard required for safe, competent and ethical professional practice. Students receive a certificate attesting their achieved professional status.
Upon successful completion of the College of Core Belief Engineering Certified Practitioner Program graduates receive a certificate stating that they are a Certified Practitioner. This certificate must be renewed annually upon receipt of proof that they are still actively practicing.
